I'm going to try setting microresolutions for June 2025 and beyond, rather than goals.
June and July:
- Stretch my calf muscles daily right after I brush my teeth before bed. -habit successful!
- I will get up out of bed immediately with my main alarm. -needs more time.
August and September:
- I will get up out of bed immediately with my main alarm (continued from June). -unsuccessful. Decided to discontinue this microresolution Oct 7/25.
- Three breaths of box (4/4/4/4) breathing or 4/7/8 breathing every day after work. -unsuccessful. Decided to discontinue this microresolution Oct 7/25.
October:
I will put my fork down between bites of food during meals.Reworked to: I will put my food down between bites at dinner to savour what I'm eating.- I will stop looking at screens at least one hour before bed (with a few exceptions, as detailed in this post).
